Symphony names new development officer

The West Virginia Symphony Orchestra has announced Laura Barry isits new vice president of development.

Previously, Barry was corporate relations manager for thesymphony, a title she'd held since February 2009.

"Laura brings to the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra a perfectblend of a strong development/fundraising background as well as astrong institutional knowledge. She has an outstanding relationshipwith all of our friends and sponsors in the community," said DavidGross, the symphony president.
